Old World Wisconsin offers many opportunities for people interested in volunteering their time to help the museum. Come join us next season to have a wonderful experience and connect with history. Training is provided! We have volunteer positions that will suit a variety of interests including:

Working With People - Teaching hands-on activities to others; greeting visitors upon arrival; meeting school children tours and giving directions to specific starting points; working at the Clausing Barn Restaurant as host/hostess; kitchen prep or outdoor concession stand; cashier for the Museum store.

Projects & Maintenance: Repair, care and inventory of OWW artifacts; carpentry projects; care of flower gardens, historic gardens, and general landscape care in the Visitor's Center.

Promotion Opportunities: Deliver OWW promotional material to various establishments and ethnic festivals, market places and county fairs; go before groups and organizations to show Power Point presentation of OWW and explain the wonders of the museum.

Tangible Benefits of being a volunteer include: Season Pass; Newsletter; Volunteer Spring Picnic and Fall Recognition Dinner; discounts at restaurant and museum gift shop; and reimbursement for mileage on personal vehicle when used for museum business.
