   Welcome to Old World Wisconsin Foundation! OWWF is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the projects and programs of Old World Wisconsin, a Historic Site owned and operated by the Wisconsin Historical Society. Founded in 1984, OWWF remains the local, independent option for funding the museum. OWWF is a private 501(c)(3) charity, not affiliated with the State of Wisconsin. Over the years, Old World Wisconsin Foundation has provided over $6 million in direct museum support - underwriting projects in every department of Old World. Donors and members like you have supplied: •Thomas General Store, Caldwell Hall, and the Pleasant Ridge exhibits
•Museum trams and groomed hiking trails •Animals like horses and oxen, along with feed, care, and behind-the-scenes facilities •Period clothing for the staff, from coats and hats to historical underwear •New programming: special events, day camps, and vintage base ball •Items for visitor comfort: padded banquet chairs, benches, maps, directional signs •And much, much more!
